Questions Asked by Abishai and Abner

We are beginning our third week of traveling through questions in the Bible. This week we will look at queries asked by two different individuals–Abishai and Abner. Abishai was one of David’s loyal military heroes. His questions indicate his loyalty and his desire to defend King David.

Abner was captain of Saul’s army. The tension between David and Saul led to conflict between Abner and Joab, David’s general.

In your journal or notebook, be sure to record: (1) To whom was the question was asked? (2) What was the response? (3) What difference did the question make?

When we complete this journey, you will have studied every question in the Bible. Have fun!
