Today’s Scripture: Exodus 2:5-10
When we let go and trust God, He shows up in the most unsuspecting ways. For Jochebed, God reached all the way to the top and pulled Pharaoh’s daughter into the picture to rescue Moses. As a reward for her faith, God gave back to Jochebed what she gave to Him. Not only did baby Moses return to her arms—she was actually paid to nurse him!
It takes boldness to have faith in God, because we don’t know what will happen when we release our circumstances into His hands. It’s not just about faith—it’s about bold faith! In order for us to possess the faith of Jochebed, we need to experience from our hearts what we know in our minds about God. How can we experience His healing if we’re never sick? How will we know Him as our provider if we never have a need? We may never fully wrap our heads around faith, and that’s okay. We just need to wrap our hearts around it.
